Scott Johnston

Head of offer, Vanguard Europe

Bio

Scott Johnston is Head of Offer for Vanguard in Europe, where he is responsible for the proposition to professional investors in the UK and Continental Europe. The offer covers product, advice, perspectives and the overall client experience, with specific services including thought leadership from Vanguard’s Adviser Research Centre, model portfolio services, and partnerships. Prior to that, he was responsible for direct clients in Canada, product for the Americas, and product strategy for Europe. Before joining Vanguard in 2016, Scott worked in various global roles in banking and strategy consultancy, focusing on asset and wealth management. He holds a BA in Economics & Management from the University of Oxford, and is a CFA charterholder.

Senior Specialist, Advisory Research Centre

Bio

Warwick Bloore, FPFS® is a Senior Specialist for Vanguard’s Financial Advisor Services. His role includes the research of financial planning and investment strategies that advisers and intermediaries can use to help maximise the value they add to their clients.

He joined Vanguard in 2019, having previously worked in the advice industry since 2007, advising private individuals and corporates, both in the UK and abroad.  His areas of expertise include portfolio construction, tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning and protection.

Warwick holds an M.A. in economics from Cambridge University. He is a Chartered Financial Planner as well as a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.

Bio

Sebastian Lewis, CFA, is a senior strategist in Vanguard’s Advisory Research Centre. He worked at Morgan Stanley in equity sales from 1999-2003 and then joined Sanford Bernstein in New York where he spent 15 years covering asset managers, hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds. From 2018-2022 he was Director of European Research at Sanford Bernstein in London. Sebastian joined Vanguard in January 2024.

Fabrizio Zumbo

Senior Specialist, Advisory Research Centre

Bio

Fabrizio works as a senior specialist in Vanguard’s Advisory Research Centre in Europe. Prior to joining Vanguard, he worked as a director of the European Retail Research and Consulting practice of Cerulli Associates in London, as the lead analyst for the European Thought Leadership programme of State Street and as a senior analyst in the Asset & Wealth Management Research Centre of PwC in Luxembourg. Fabrizio has more than 15 years of experience in research (from field research to academic, sectorial, country, economics, and industry research) including 10 years in asset and wealth management industry-focused research and analysis.
