The Advantage of Advice

Vanguard Investment Symposium

Find out more

Thank you for your interest in the 2018 Vanguard Investment Symposium. In numbers in attendance and media interest, it was the most successful we have held. Please register interest in our follow-up workshops. Whether or not you attended the Symposium, the workshops will offer an opportunity for to develop your skills in a critical area for all advisers, creating effective adviser-client relationships.

Professional advice is key to investor success, but what is the secret to creating opportunity in adviser-client relationships? How can the industry adapt to a more complex, more automated world?

In Vanguard's 2018 Adviser-Client Survey we interviewed 300 advisers and 1000 clients to map the current advice landscape. Various themes have emerged, including the growing role of automation, the perception gap between advisers and their clients and the interplay between trust and client satisfaction.

Our expert speakers will explore these themes and more in our CPD-accredited Investment Symposium.

We are also delighted to announce our special guest speaker, Andrew Neil. Andrew is one of the most provocative – and successful – political and economic journalists of his generation. Speaking on trust in public life, Andrew will help advisers understand how trust has become a major issue for both politics and business.

Delegates will:

  • Be among the first to explore analysis of Vanguard’s 2018 Adviser-Client Survey
  • Hear from our special guest speaker Andrew Neil on trust in public life
  • Learn our latest thoughts on critical investment issues
  • Have an opportunity to meet and network with fellow advisers

Join us for this unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the change in UK financial advice.
